The word “exhort” means, to beseech, comfort, or pray. It means to call to one’s side in order to console, encourage or strengthen by consolation, to comfort them. Why should there be an expedience in our exhorting one another? Because for the believer, we are moments away from standing before the Lord at the Judgment Seat of Christ, where we will receive our reward, or lack thereof, for what we have done in this body, to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. For this, we need encouragement EVERY DAY.
