There are plenty of things to point to in the world that are wrong. But what happens when we look within? It is often easier to blame other people or external factors rather than confront our own faults. Part of Jesus' mission was to accept the blame that we deserve- thats why its called good news!

Sin has an impact we can feel. We may feel guilty, wounded, or fearful because of sin, and we often describe those feelings in physical terms such as being crushed, weighed down, or suffocated. When Jesus came to the garden of Gethsemane he felt the weight of our sin. Have you ever felt like you had the weight of the world on your shoulders?

When we think about great cities we have visited or in which we have lived, there is often one place, event, or person that stands out as the symbol that identifies or represents what that city means to us. The events near the end of Jesus life took place directly outside the walls of Jerusalem forever establishing this great city as the city where God would show the world what great love looked like.
