Revival

We pray that we can position and posture ourselves as individuals and a church body to be ready to receive revival.

Perpetual Revival

October 29, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • 2 Corinthians 4:16, John 15:1–5, Hebrews 12:1–2, John 15:12

This week we will wrap up our sermon series titled "Revival." What an awesome series it has been! In this week's message titled "Perpetual Revival" we will learn that revival isn't meant to be a singular event. Perpetual revival is where we are experiencing the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit daily, where we are always drawing near to Jesus. He is saying that our actions only lead to revival because of His power. We're not meant to achieve perpetual revival alone. We are meant to remain in Jesus and let Him do the work in us.  Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:16, John 15:1-5, Hebrews 12:1-2, John 15:12 ___________________________________________________________________________ See our Web Site: https://http://www.thegoodshepherdchurch.com Subscribe to us on YouTube: https://http://www.youtube.com/@gsbcde Follow us on Facebook: https://facebook.com/gsbcde Give us a Google Review: https://form.church/greview See us on Instagram: https://http://www.instagram.com/gsbcde See our Sermons on Sermon Cloud: https://good-shepherd-baptist-church.http://sermoncloud.com See us online at http://gsbcde.online.church Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/gsbcde Follow us on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user118560494 Follow us on Pinterest: https://pin.it/3vn7liv Follow us on Tumblr:  https://gsbcde.tumblr.com Text "Welcome" to 302-205-0558 Connect with us at: https://app.http://textinchurch.com/groups/extform/mtc0ndq3 Support us with your donations at: https://bit.ly/3j24uq1 Our goal is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior – Jesus Christ. A Revival Phrase

This week we will continue with our sermon series titled "Revival." This week's message is titled "A Revival Phrase." We will learn a revival phrase spoken by John the Baptist in John 3:30, "He must increase, but I must decrease." A phrase that if you'll say it and really mean it, it'll position your life to receive God's help, the supernatural help of the spirit of God.  Scripture: John 3:30, Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10, Isaiah 55:9 ___________________________________________________________________________ See our Web Site: https://http://www.thegoodshepherdchurch.com Subscribe to us on YouTube: https://http://www.youtube.com/@gsbcde Follow us on Facebook: https://facebook.com/gsbcde Give us a Google Review: https://form.church/greview See us on Instagram: https://http://www.instagram.com/gsbcde See our Sermons on Sermon Cloud: https://good-shepherd-baptist-church.http://sermoncloud.com See us online at http://gsbcde.online.church Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/gsbcde Follow us on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user118560494 Follow us on Pinterest: https://pin.it/3vn7liv Follow us on Tumblr:  https://gsbcde.tumblr.com Text "Welcome" to 302-205-0558 Connect with us at: https://app.http://textinchurch.com/groups/extform/mtc0ndq3 Support us with your donations at: https://bit.ly/3j24uq1 Our goal is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior – Jesus Christ. It Starts Here

October 22, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Romans 6:2–5, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:36–38, Psalm 85:6, Matthew 18:18–20

This week we will continue with our series "Revival." The title for this week's message is "It Starts Here." In this message I will be discussing the importance of water baptism. At the end of the message we will have a testimony video from Nicole and then we will make a call for anyone wanting to be baptized to step out and come forward. We currently have six people who have decided to be baptized this Sunday. My prayer is that we would all be in prayer and believe that there will be others who decide to be baptized after hearing the message.  Scripture: Psalm 85:6, Matthew 18:18-20, Romans 6:2-5, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:36-38 ___________________________________________________________________________ See our Web Site: https://http://www.thegoodshepherdchurch.com Subscribe to us on YouTube: https://http://www.youtube.com/@gsbcde Follow us on Facebook: https://facebook.com/gsbcde Give us a Google Review: https://form.church/greview See us on Instagram: https://http://www.instagram.com/gsbcde See our Sermons on Sermon Cloud: https://good-shepherd-baptist-church.http://sermoncloud.com See us online at http://gsbcde.online.church Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/gsbcde Follow us on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user118560494 Follow us on Pinterest: https://pin.it/3vn7liv Follow us on Tumblr:  https://gsbcde.tumblr.com Text "Welcome" to 302-205-0558 Connect with us at: https://app.http://textinchurch.com/groups/extform/mtc0ndq3 Support us with your donations at: https://bit.ly/3j24uq1 Our goal is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior – Jesus Christ. A New Thing

October 8, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Isaiah 43:16–19, Psalm 85:6, Romans 8:28, 1 Corinthians 10:13

This week we will continue with our sermon series titled "Revival." In this week's message titled "A New Thing" we will learn that God desires to do a new thing in our life. However, in order for Him to do something new in our lives, we first have to let go of the past.  But if we're all honest, sometimes we have a tendency to get stuck in the incredible things of the past that God did for us. So, when it comes down to it, are you actually going to take that thing that's new? Stop fixating on what you know, on what you've experienced, and on how God moved in the past, because God has something brand new for you today! Revival Prayer

October 1, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Habakkuk 3:2, Psalm 85:6, 2 Chronicles 7:14

This week we will continue with our sermon series titled "Revival." In this week's message titled "Revival Prayer" we will learn from the revival prayer, the minor prophet Habakkuk prayed in Habakuk 3:2. We will learn how we can pray for revival not only in our own individual lives but also for our church body, community, nation and the world. The question to ask yourselves is "Where do you need revival?" And until you acknowledge your need, you won't have faith for God to meet that need. We need to Pray! Pray, "God I know you've done it for others, so do it for me, lead me, guide me, provide for me, answer me, help me." Admit your need and ask God to meet it! Revival Ready

September 24, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Genesis 5:3–24, Mark 9:23, Jeremiah 29:13–14, Psalm 85:6

This week we will kick off a new sermon series titled "Revival." The word "revival" in the Hebrew language means "to restore, to bring back to life, to return to consciousness." And when used specifically in the scriptures it means a rejuvenation, a restoration or a renewal of interest after spiritual neglect, oblivion, or obscurity. And that's what we are praying for as a church. That we can position and posture ourselves as individuals and a church body to be ready to receive revival. In this week's message titled "Revival Ready" we will learn how we can position and posture ourselves to get "Revival Ready." What are you believing God for? God is waiting for you to seek Him. And when you do, you will find Him. because He is not hiding; He wants to walk with you, and He wants to send revival!
