A journey takes place one step at a time, one step after another, and every step is important along the way. Likewise, the spiritual life is a journey that requires us to actually begin and take steps. Today we’ll focus on the steps that primarily require individual action on our parts, even if we’re involved with a few others. They help lay the foundation for other practices and help us move on our journey of becoming more like Jesus.

The spiritual life is a journey that requires us to actually begin and take steps. Today we’ll focus on steps that we primarily do with others. These steps/practices were all lived out by Jesus, and they continue to be crucial to the journey of any of his disciples. What’s more, these practices aren’t one-shot wonders – they are holy habits that we need to constantly engage in on our spiritual journeys of becoming more like Jesus.
