Palm Sunday stands out as a day in which the people praising Jesus didn’t really understand who he was or what he was about. As we’ll explore today, perhaps God’s ways really aren’t our ways, and yet, His ways are always the right ways!

Finding Hope Today - Part 4

April 3, 2022 • Randy Hageman • 1 Corinthians 6:19–20, Ezekiel 37:24–28, John 2:19–22, John 1:14, Haggai 2:9

The sin that separated us from God and His glory in Genesis 3 continues to haunt us and hurt us. We need hope to face all this world lays before us, and the resurrection of Christ begins to allow us to experience some of God’s glory, here and now, to give us a hint of what heaven will be like. Through the tabernacle and temple, God was always pointing His people to this glorious hope – a hope that we now can experience in Jesus himself.

Finding Hope Today - Part 3

March 27, 2022 • Randy Hageman • Revelation 21:3–5, Colossians 1:13, Hebrews 2:14–15, Colossians 2:14–15, Romans 8:1

The resurrection of Jesus Christ promises us “a living hope” that nothing in this world can take away from us. It ushers in the beginning of the kingdom of God, and our faith transfers us into this kingdom. And though this future kingdom has not yet fully come, it has begun, in Christ and his resurrection, and as we’ll see today, it offers us hope, profound certainty, that impacts the way we live our lives today!
