Life can often be hard; it can steer us in directions we never imagined; it can throw us off our game or distort how we see the life around us. God understands this, and through the 23rd Psalm we can begin to see all He offers us, including setting a table before us. But what does this mean, and why does this matter? The sad truth is that this side of Heaven our lives will never be devoid of evil influences. But God has prepared a table in the presence of our enemies to help us live victoriously. But to do that, we need God’s help to change the way we think. We need truths that we can not only stand on, but that God can guide us and equip us and empower us to wield in our battle against the enemy, and we’ll explore those today!
God’s Invitation Always Stands

No matter how careful we are, at least on occasion, Satan is going to sneak up to our table with God, and he will try to deceive us. When he uses tools such as guilt and shame, when he condemns us, it’s important to distinguish these from God’s legitimate voice that may need to speak into our lives, addressing real sin, but Who will never condemn the follower of Jesus. Today we’ll seek to discern where God speaks and where Satan attempts to deceive us.
The Path to Victory

God wants us to win the battle for our minds. He has marked off the path that guides us in the victory that Jesus Christ gives. When we identify lies and replace them with Truth, we are freed to follow our Good Shepherd and enjoy the benefits of His way!
