Most people can remember a Christmas moment of remembering the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas. What if we were asked, “why do you celebrate Christmas?” Would you mention Jesus? In week one of our new series The King is Coming we will look at The Need for the King. Why did Jesus need to come to be with his people?

And what difference does it make for our living today?

December 10, 2023 • Randy Hageman • Matthew 28:19–20, Matthew 4:19, Luke 19:10, Matthew 22:37–39, Isaiah 9:6–7

And while Satan’s defeat would not yet be complete, this king, King Jesus, came to teach us and guide us to begin living as his loyal subjects. He teaches us what it means to live under his rule.
