Session Two: A Mirrored Image

God is ultimately our Creator, and created us for a specific purpose while we live our lives on earth. However, God is complete and without need. In "A Mirrored Image", see the love God has for us by creating us with great intent.

Objectives for "A Mirrored Image":

1. We are created in the image of God.
2. Our image is His purpose. We are to mirror the qualities that God possesses in our lives.
3. God is complete and doesn't need us to be His image bearers, but allowed us to do so because of His love for us.
4. God is three persons in one, referred to as the Trinity.

1. "What is the Bible?"

In session one, we will highlight how the Bible is a primary tool God has given us to come to know Him. Additionally, we will take a look at factual information regarding the Bible, such as: "who wrote it?", "how many books are in it?", and "when was it written?". Objectives for Session One: 1. God wants us to know Him, which is why He gave us the Bible. 2. The Bible is the perfect resource for knowing God. 3. The Bible is completely inspired by God.

In Session Two, we will unpack Psalm 19:7-11 by identifying key characteristics of God's Word. See how the Bible is perfect, trustworthy, right, radiant, pure and precious through your study this week. Objectives for Session Two: 1. Identify key characteristics of the Bible. 2. See that these characteristics of the Bible are synonymous with characteristics of God.
