[NOTE: I typically don't post this sort of recommendation in these Scripture Topics, but this particular topic hits home pretty hard. I've been through a LOT of growth over the past 2.5 years of my life. These years have been some of the hardest, yet most exciting and most rewarding times of my life. If it weren't for me having a relationship with God, I honestly wouldn't have made it through all the growing pains. I spent A LOT of time with God, one-on-One. I spent a LOT of time talking with Him and resting in His love. I spent a LOT of time with four songs on repeat and they helped me through some of my hardest times, so I want to share them with you. 1. Never Alone - Zach Taylor 2. The God Who Makes A Way - Zach Taylor 3. Jireh - Elevation Worship & Maverick City Music 4. Another In the Fire - Hillsong UNITED I want to encourage you to check them out on YouTube - I pray they help you, too!] I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave,[a] you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. - Psalm 139:7-10 NLT Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” - Hebrews 13:5 AMP The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. Thank You, God for always being with me - through every storm, every victory, every trial, every time of rest, every time of rejoicing - every part of my life, walking with me through this life and helping me. I love You, so much, God! Thank You!
Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: you must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. – James 1:19 NLT Be angry [at sin—at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior], yet do not sin; do not let your anger [cause you shame, nor allow it to] last until the sun goes down. I draw near to You, so You will draw near to me, just as You promise in Your Word (James 4:8). I ask for Your help. I speak PEACE, PEACE, PEACE now in the name of Jesus! On purpose, I choose to walk in the fruit of the spirit of self-control. I release all anger and negative emotions. I relinquish my state of mind and life over to You, NOW, In Jesus’s name!!

Though a mighty army surround me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. The one thing I ask of the Lord – the thing I seek most – is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in His Temple. For He will conceal me there when troubles come; He will hide me in His sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. - Psalm 27:1-5 NLT Say this prayer aloud: Father, it is by Your Word that I have placed faith and hope in You. I speak a calm and peaceful mind. I receive Your strength and declare that You are my safe place. I will not be anxious about anything at all, for You have given me Your perfect peace! I rest in You. Thank You, for taking such good care of me and taking up all of my concerns and anxiety, so that I can be at peace and free, in Jesus’s Name, Amen!

You promise to rescue me and take care of me. I defy my feelings and I trust You, God. I trust You. I may have to say it over and over until I overcome my feelings, but I trust You! I know You are always with me, and will never leave me, nor forsake me. Now I say, "the Joy of the Lord is My Strength and I will live, laugh, praise, and not die, according to Nehemiah 8:10 and Psalm 118:17!” Just as 1 Corinthians 2:16 says I have the mind of Christ, so do I declare that I have the mind of Christ in Jesus' Name! Amen!
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” - Genesis 3:1 NASB Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” -Matthew 14:31 NASB So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. – Romans 10:17 NLT And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.” - Matthew 21:21 ESV But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. - James 1:6 – NIV And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. – Mark 11:22-24 AMPC What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. You know what I’m going through. You know what I’m facing. This situation feels bigger than me. I don’t know how, but I know that You will work all of this out for my good and my benefit. You promise that to be true in Romans 8:28 GWT when You said, “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God—those whom He has called according to His plan.” I know nothing and no one can separate me from Your love. Your plans for me are to prosper me. Your plans for me are for my good and my benefit. Therefore, I know that anything I’m facing that isn’t good, did not come from You! So I speak to the situation and say “you MUST work out for my good, in Jesus’s name!” I trust You, God. I trust You are for me. I trust You’ve got my back. This situation is in good, reliable hands because it is in Your hands! I love You and thank You, for working it all out for me! In Jesus’s name, Amen!

- Psalm 27:1-5 NLT "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. Do not fear their threats (or what they fear); do not be frightened." -1 Peter 3:14 NIV "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18 NIV Say this prayer aloud: Father God, You did not give me a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind!..and because of that, I REFUSE TO FEAR! I refuse to fear, because You are my refuge and stronghold in the time of the storm. I cast down thoughts, anxieties, worries, fear, and anything or anyone that's trying to take my peace. I declare aloud, I WILL NOT FEAR! Psalm 91 says You hide me in the secret place of the Most High and in Your presence is the fullness of joy! Because of that, I know that ALL IS WELL. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

She came to Him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” - Luke 10:38-42 NIV Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. When life gets busy, Holy Spirit, help us to keep our thoughts fixed on You, so that we can handle the busyness of life without getting overwhelmed or distracted. Help us to balance our time and to manage it wisely, so that we can find rest and still get everything done that needs done. Give us wisdom and discernment so that we can walk in Your peace and choose the better things as Mary did. We choose to calm down and keep our minds on Holy Spirit. In Jesus's Name, Amen!

Thank You, that because we have chosen for You to be our Lord and Savior that we no longer have to give in to temptation, but can stand and fight [Ephesians 6:10-18, 2 Corinthians 10:5]. We come against the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ and refuse to gratify our flesh. We do what James 4:7 says, "So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Thank You Jesus, that You are my Strength. Praise You, Jesus! I declare by faith that I am more than an overcomer [Romans 8:37]. Thank You, Jesus, that YOU have already given me the victory - which includes the victory to overcome any temptation [1 Corinthians 15:57]! Thank You for who You are and all that You do.
