Doubtful

Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” - Genesis 3:1 NASB

Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” -Matthew 14:31 NASB

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. – Romans 10:17 NLT

And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.” - Matthew 21:21 ESV

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. - James 1:6 – NIV

And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. – Mark 11:22-24 AMPC

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. – Hebrews 11:1 TLB

Say this prayer aloud:
Father, God, I come to You and lay it all out. You know what I’m going through. You know what I’m facing. This situation feels bigger than me. I don’t know how, but I know that You will work all of this out for my good and my benefit. You promise that to be true in Romans 8:28 GWT when You said, “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God—those whom He has called according to His plan.” I know nothing and no one can separate me from Your love. Your plans for me are to prosper me. Your plans for me are for my good and my benefit. Therefore, I know that anything I’m facing that isn’t good, did not come from You! So I speak to the situation and say “you MUST work out for my good, in Jesus’s name!” I trust You, God. I trust You are for me. I trust You’ve got my back. This situation is in good, reliable hands because it is in Your hands! I love You and thank You, for working it all out for me! In Jesus’s name, Amen!

Alone / Lonely

[NOTE: I typically don't post this sort of recommendation in these Scripture Topics, but this particular topic hits home pretty hard. I've been through a LOT of growth over the past 2.5 years of my life. These years have been some of the hardest, yet most exciting and most rewarding times of my life. If it weren't for me having a relationship with God, I honestly wouldn't have made it through all the growing pains. I spent A LOT of time with God, one-on-One. I spent a LOT of time talking with Him and resting in His love. I spent a LOT of time with four songs on repeat and they helped me through some of my hardest times, so I want to share them with you. 1. Never Alone - Zach Taylor 2. The God Who Makes A Way - Zach Taylor 3. Jireh - Elevation Worship & Maverick City Music 4. Another In the Fire - Hillsong UNITED I want to encourage you to check them out on YouTube - I pray they help you, too!] I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave,[a] you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. - Psalm 139:7-10 NLT Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” - Hebrews 13:5 AMP The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. - Isaiah 58:11 NLT No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. - Joshua 1:5 NLT This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9 NLT ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ - Isaiah 41:10 AMP When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end. - Isaiah 43:2 MSG Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” - Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT Father God, I thank You right now, that I am NOT alone. You have promised in Your Word over and over that You will NEVER leave me - You will NEVER abandon me. My parents may have abandoned me - my friends may have walked away from me, left me standing on my own. Oh, but Faithful God, I know I was never truly alone, for YOU are always with me. Thank You, God for always being with me - through every storm, every victory, every trial, every time of rest, every time of rejoicing - every part of my life, walking with me through this life and helping me. I love You, so much, God! Thank You!

Angry

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: you must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. – James 1:19 NLT Be angry [at sin—at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior], yet do not sin; do not let your anger [cause you shame, nor allow it to] last until the sun goes down. And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness]. – Ephesians 4:26-27 AMP Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. – Ephesians 4:31-32 NLT A person without self-control is like a house with its doors and windows knocked out. – Proverbs 5:28 MSG Sensible people control their temper; they earn respect by overlooking wrongs. – Proverbs 19:11 NLT Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper – it only leads to harm. – Psalm 37:8 NLT Control your anger, for anger labels you a fool. – Ecclesiastes 7:9 NLT Say this prayer aloud – Father, I cast down that spirit of fear that is causing me to be angry over circumstances, situations, and people. I draw near to You, so You will draw near to me, just as You promise in Your Word (James 4:8). I ask for Your help. I speak PEACE, PEACE, PEACE now in the name of Jesus! On purpose, I choose to walk in the fruit of the spirit of self-control. I release all anger and negative emotions. I relinquish my state of mind and life over to You, NOW, In Jesus’s name!!

Anxious / Worried

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” - Psalm 46:1 NLT “For I the LORD your God keep hold of your right hand; [I am the Lord], Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’” - Isaiah 41:13 AMP “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” - Matthew 6:34 NLT “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]” - John 14:27 AMP “So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say, “The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” - Hebrews 13:6 AMP "If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in His good time He will lift you up. Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you." -1 Peter 5:6-7 TLB “What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be successful] against us?” - Romans 8:31 AMP "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7 TLB "Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way." - Psalm 23:4 TLB The Lord is my light and my salvation – so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surround me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. The one thing I ask of the Lord – the thing I seek most – is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in His Temple. For He will conceal me there when troubles come; He will hide me in His sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. - Psalm 27:1-5 NLT Say this prayer aloud: Father, it is by Your Word that I have placed faith and hope in You. You have given me salvation and abundant life. All glory is Yours. Teach me and remind me of Your Word, so that I will be able to be fully equipped to live for You and stand against the enemy. I speak a calm and peaceful mind. I receive Your strength and declare that You are my safe place. I will not be anxious about anything at all, for You have given me Your perfect peace! I rest in You. Thank You, for taking such good care of me and taking up all of my concerns and anxiety, so that I can be at peace and free, in Jesus’s Name, Amen!
