Here's a brief summary of the marvelous story of Our Lady of Good Success: The place is Quito, Ecuador and the year is 1611. Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, a nun to whom Our Lady appeared. Then, a great light had filled the church and she had beheld the Most Holy Trinity with Mary Most Holy, resplendent and queenly. Lo and behold, the Blessed Virgin approached and entered the statue of her, as rays of the sun penetrated a transparent crystal. At that moment the statue took on life and sang the Magnificat!
