As a follower of Jesus, celebrating joy doesn’t hinge on everything being perfect. Christ + ___________ ≠ Gospel. The Gospel is Jesus, period. We don’t have to add anything else to it. Heritage gives your life a structure, but faith structures how you are to live.

Unfettered Joy

Joy is independent of our circumstances. Joy won’t be stifled when the Gospel matters most. When your life is not your own, the reality of the end generates joy. Joy is a weapon to find resilience and grit. Choosing Jesus produces joy.

Worthy Gospel

Life worth living is for a worthy Gospel. A worthy Gospel brings opposition. The Gospel is good, settles a sin issue and is worth our devotion.
