Relational Health

April 21, 2024 • Kevin Brimner • Colossians 3:18—4:1

Jesus is relational with us and therefore shapes and shifts how we relate to others. Imagine the impact of your relationships, conversations, prayers, parenting, and work focused on living as Jesus lived. Your presence would be life-giving (carry you off the field at end of the game). Imagine a church committed to fully living Jesus in all our relationships–this gathering would be irresistible!

More from Jesus Is ____

Missional

April 28, 2024 • Kevin Brimner • Colossians 4:2–6, 1 Corinthians 9:19–23

Jesus lived a life on mission. He's mission...to seek and save the lost. He invites us to follow in his steps to reach those hurting around us. Kevin unpacks what that looks like in the final message on our series.

Peace

April 14, 2024 • Nathan Logsdon • Colossians 3:1–17, John 17:13–16

Your life and actions can lead and strive for a lot of different options. Paul encourages us to focus on the heavenly over the earthly, to recognize that as Jesus transforms us the response of our life changes. Paul lists fruit and expressions of our unbelief or belief through the form of lists. They are not exhaustive but directional. In versus 15-17 he presents a benediction and encouragement to bring this section to fullness through the understanding of peace.

Transformational

April 7, 2024 • Nathan Logsdon • Colossians 2:16–23, Matthew 9:14–17

There are beliefs and those who will add to the Gospel what doesn’t fit or belong. Paul warns the church in Colossae that such things are a shadow of what is actually found in Christ. The life we live and the things we do are because of the peace we have with God, not so that we can have peace with God. When Jesus does transformational work internally, we respond with our lives externally.
