08.06.23 - When Life Doesn’t Turn Out the Way You Thought It Would

August 6, 2023 • Harlan Haines • Habakkuk 2:1

Why doesn’t life turn out the way we thought it would? Sometimes it’s because of the decisions or sins in our lives….the times that we have not followed the will of God. The consequences of those decisions or sins should spur us to want to now be in the will of God. Other times it is because of the decisions or sins of others. The decisions or sins of others alway affect more than the one who does them. Sometimes we are caught up in the decisions of others not to follow the will of God. Those decisions or sins of others should cause us to desire to make the right choices in our lives so that we don’t affect others they way others have affected us. So what do we do when life doesn’t turn out the way we thought it should? We are to do what Habakkuk did. We are to watch earnestly expecting God to show up with the help to get us through where we find ourselves in life, because He will and we don’t want to miss Him.
