The Death of Jesus 28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.” 29 A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
The Peace of God

Philippians 4:6-7 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
A Wealth of Generosity

1) Be generous even in difficulty. v.2 “for in a severe test of affliction” “their extreme poverty” 2) Be generous according to your means. v.3 “For they gave according to their means” “and beyond their means” 3) Be generous with great desire and eagerness. v.4 “begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints” 4) Be generous as an offering to God. v.5 “they gave themselves first to the Lord” 5) Be generous for the benefit of others. v.5 “and then by the will of God to us.”
