This Sunday, JC Neely continues our series on Generosity. When we talk about generosity, we often focus exclusively on money. Yet, God gives us a variety of opportunities to be generous: we can be generous with our time, influence, words, money, and resources. Often, we are tempted to offer God the excess of our lives rather than living sacrificially. Like Elijah, we must offer our generosity on the altar of God rather than the altar of self.
