One of the things the Church struggles with is engaging the culture around us in a way that is clear and accurate. The Church is often tempted to compromise its message, to yield to the culturally acceptable or politically correct, or to simply gloss over those things in the Christian tradition that may be distasteful to others. But being a misfit in this world means that our focus is on one thing, while the culture's focus is on something else.
