Like most other NT epistles/books, the author ends his book with applications. He shows us what changes should be made in the lives of his readers, as well as us, due to the doctrine expounded upon in the previous chapters.

Inherit the Kingdom Through Service

In his final admonition, the author urges his readership to keep seeing the invisible world and to hold onto their firstborn rights in the Kingdom. Instead of disregarding these spiritual blessings like Esau did with his birthright, they ought to cherish their spiritual blessings of sonship in the Kingdom so that they like the faithful saints of old can receive as an inheritance the unshakable Kingdom through their faithful service to God.
