Colossians 1:1-12

CLASS ONE: An introduction was given for Colossians along with the anticipated schedule for the next 12 weeks. Each week, students will have assignments to complete during the week to enhance their growth in the study. Colossians 1:1-12 was discussed which included Paul's authority to write the letter, his gratitude for the Colossians' faith, and his hope for the church (i.e., the goals of the book).
COURSE OVERVIEW: Some people’s Christianity is a deep argument about certain truths rather than serving God with joy and with power. Other people see Christianity as nothing more than things you must do and things you must avoid doing rather than growing in dependent faith in Christ. Colossians demonstrates the sufficiency of Christ and His grace to live the Christian life.

CLASS NINE: We will be finishing up Chapter 3, learning about the targeted commands for wives, husbands, children, fathers, and slaves so as to reflect a worthy walk; and reaping what we sow.
