The funtional gift of giving compels the one posessing it to look for opportunities to be a blessing in financial and material ways. The Holy Spirit heightens their awareness of needs that are around them in the lives of people and HE supplies the resources to meet the need. The 'giver' need only be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and obedient to HIs leading.
