When Life Hits A Pothole

Pastor John Brunette

March 18, 2018

Today Pastor John closes out our series on the book of Habakkuk. This book is so relevant, modern, and practical to us today because of Habakkuk’s questions for God: “How long, Lord? Why? When are You going to do something?” As we move to chapter 3, we discover God’s plan for Habakkuk and His people (including us!). Don’t be surprised if you hit a pothole on the way to eventually understanding the journey God is taking you on!

If These People Were Silent

March 25, 2018

Welcome to Holy Week. Today is Palm Sunday, the day when we celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. “Triumphant” is an odd word to describe a guy who would soon be falsely accused, convicted, punished, and executed. But, as believers, we know the rest of the story. Let’s take this week’s journey one day at a time. Welcome to Palm Sunday worship, and I’ll see you again on Thursday!

I hope that my mastery of the subject matter shines through today as our topic is PRIDE.

Living By Faith

What is wrong with the world we live in? Have you ever asked that question? Ever ask God? Has He given you an answer? How long will God put up with all of this? Why does He let it go on? Some 2600 years ago a prophet by the name of Habakkuk asked similar questions. God's answer (which we don't always like) was, "Wait. . .and live by faith." Last week our focus was on waiting; this week we learn what it means to live by faith.
