February 4, 2024 • leadership, finances, persev

In Nehemiah 5 we discover a story of inner conflict of a group of people doing a good work for God. Nehemiah 1-3 tells about the repair work of the wall around Jerusalem. Nehemiah 4-6 describes the opposition. In Nehemiah 5 we discover that the construction stopped because of some inner conflict. No building is recorded in this this chapter. Our church is doing a great work – making disciples. Yet, we will face opposition. Some of that opposition could be ourself. This chapter will give us some insight.
