21 Days of Prayer

Spring 2021 :: March 1-21, 2021

March 21, 2021 // Day 21 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 21, 2021

John 3:16-17 (NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” For God so loved the world that He gave…Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. We thank You, Lord, that You are love. That love is the action that You demonstrate towards us to change our whole world, both now and for eternity. Come have Your way in our lives. Grant us a new infilling of Your Holy Spirit to boldly proclaim Your love to our world of influence. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church. THANK YOU FOR JOINING US IN PRAYER THESE LAST 21 DAYS. YOU. ARE. LOVED!

March 20, 2021 // Day 20 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 20, 2021

Acts 10:38-42 (NKJV) “…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him…Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly…And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.” Jesus declared that the Holy Spirit had anointed Him to accomplish the Father’s will for His life. Peter testifies that Jesus’ anointing empowered Him to do good and heal all who were oppressed by the devil. Peter also testified that he was commissioned to continue with the message of healing and freedom. O Gracious Father, today we give thanks that the power of Jesus to heal, deliver and renew any life that comes to Him remains. We rejoice that each of us have access to the mercy and grace of God through Jesus. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 19, 2021 // Day 19 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 19, 2021

Luke 8:26-39 (NKJV) “Then they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee. And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, ‘What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!’ For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. Jesus asked him, saying, ‘What is your name?’ And he said, ‘Legion,’ because many demons had entered him. And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss. Now a herd of many swine was feeding there on the mountain. So they begged Him that He would permit them to enter them. And He permitted them. Then the demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the lake and drowned. When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled and told it in the city and in the country. Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. They also who had seen it told them by what means he who had been demon-possessed was healed. Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned. Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, ‘Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.’ And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.” Demonic oppression, when confronted with Jesus, must always fall down before Him. When Jesus sets us free, He commissions us to tell others all the “great things God has done for us.” Jesus releases us to the liberty of joyfully proclaiming His goodness to us. Heavenly Father, we rejoice that Your only begotten son, Jesus, is our liberator. Jesus is the one commands all of our oppression to cease. As we draw near to You, grant us the understanding of the path to freedom You have mapped out for each one of us. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 18, 2021 // Day 18 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 18, 2021

Mark 1:21-27 (NKJV) “Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught. And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, ‘Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are – the Holy One of God!’ But Jesus rebuked him, saying, ‘Be quiet, and come out of him!’ And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, ‘What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.’" Oppression takes on many forms. It is cruelty to our souls. Oppression is an enemy of merciful truth. Cruelty lashes out at mercy, yet Jesus responds with power to release those oppressed by the devil or any other weight. His mercies are new every morning. Thank You, Lord God, Almighty! Your power to set at liberty anyone who is oppressed is limitless. We rejoice that we, too, can speak to the oppression in our lives and tell it to “Be quiet and come out!” If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 17, 2021 // Day 17 of 21 Days of Prayer *WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT*

March 17, 2021

Mark 3:1-5 (NKJV) “And He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him. And He said to the man who had the withered hand, ‘Step forward.’ Then He said to them, ‘Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?’ But they kept silent. And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.” Religion “withers” every hand. It makes us captive to rules. Hardness of heart grieves Jesus. Yet, Jesus will not allow other people’s rules and regulations to prevent Him from extending His power toward us. The simple requirement to present our cares to Jesus opens the door for each of us to experience the liberty Jesus offers. We are truly grateful, O Lord, that You have made a way for each of us to be freed from the withering hand of religion, that we can stretch forth our cares to You and You will set us free. Grant us the grace to offer that freedom to those we meet. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church. JOIN US FOR WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT TONIGHT, 6:30p!

March 16, 2021 // March 16 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 16, 2021

Luke 13:10-13 (NKJV) “Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, ‘Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.’ And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” Many of us are “bent over” by the burdens of life. We are held captive by the consequences of circumstances or poor choices we have made. In so many cases, when we present our captivity to Jesus he responds with “you are loosed from your infirmity.” O Lord, thank You for Your consistency. Thank You that there is hope for each of us bent over by our burdens. Thank You that You implore us by saying, “Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened.” We fix our eyes on You, Lord Jesus. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 15, 2021 // Day 15 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 15, 2021

Mark 9:17-27 (NKJV) “Then one of the crowd answered and said, ‘Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.’…So He asked his father, ‘How long has this been happening to him?’ And he said, ‘From childhood. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.’ Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, ‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!’…He (Jesus) rebuked the unclean spirit…Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, ‘He is dead.’ But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.” “If You can do anything” is a cry of desperation. “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” is a cry of honesty. Jesus is never offended when we approach him with whatever level of faith that we have. Our cry for Him to help us move closer to Him, closer in our trust in His goodness, will always be rewarded by His mercy. Thank You, Jesus, that we can ask for Your help to believe You, that You will take what trust we have and allow it to bear fruit in our lives. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 14, 2021 // Day 14 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 14, 2021

Luke 7:11-15 (NKJV) “Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, ‘Do not weep.’ Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, ‘Young man, I say to you, arise.’ So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.” When we lose everything, we are broken. This widow lost everything, her protection in society and her provision for living. When Jesus sees our loss, He stops what He is doing and responds to us with compassion. Thank you, Jesus, that You demonstrated compassion over and over again for the brokenhearted. Thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Thank You that You see our broken-heartedness and that You will move with compassion towards each of us. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 13, 2021 // Day 13 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 13, 2021

John 4:46-53 (NKJV) “So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee…And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum…He went to Him (Jesus) and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, ‘Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.’ The nobleman said to Him, ‘Sir, come down before my child dies!’ Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way; your son lives.’ So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, ‘Your son lives!’ Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, ‘Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.’ So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, ‘Your son lives.’ And he himself believed, and his whole household.” Any parent who has experienced the brokenness of children suffering from any type of illness can empathize with this father. When we bring our broken hearts to Jesus, we are positioned to receive from Him the instructions on how we are to walk in these types of valleys. Father, open our hearts to Your Holy Spirit as we bring our broken hearts to Jesus. Grant us ears to hear Your words of life. And grant us Your grace to walk them out. Thank You for Your mercy in our lives. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 12, 2021 // Day 12 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 12, 2021

Mark 1:40-41 (NKJV) “Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, ‘If You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’” As we come to know Jesus, we come to understand what is possible in and through Him. This leper knew the brokenness of isolation from people due to his disease. He became convinced that if Jesus wanted to He could heal him. Jesus responded to him with an, “I want to.” Jesus responds to anyone who comes to Him trusting in His mercy and grace with the same “I want to.” Lord Jesus, thank You that not only do You have the power to heal our brokenness. You have the “want to” as well. O Lord, heal each of us as we continue our journey with You. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 11, 2021 // Day 11 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 11, 2021

John 3:1-3 (NKJV) “There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, ‘Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’" Why can we classify a Pharisee as poor? Because even those who appear to be somebody in society are poor, impoverished in spirit, if they do not know Jesus as Lord. Father, we are so very thankful that You have made the way for anyone who come to You through Jesus to be born again. We are born again to live a vastly different life than what it was before Jesus came in and saved us. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 10, 2021 // Day 10 of 21 Days of Prayer *WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT*

March 10, 2021

John 8:10-12 (NKJV) “When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, ‘Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?’ She said, ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.’ Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’” Anyone caught in the act of sin who comes to Jesus will find His offer of freedom from condemnation. Jesus came to pay the penalty for our sins so that He can extend freedom from guilt, shame and condemnation. He then offers the grace of the Holy Spirit to go and sin no more. O Lord, we do not have enough words to proclaim how grateful we are for Your gracious forgiveness. Thank You for allowing us to come near, even in our brokenness and sin, to obtain a new way of living. If you have a prayer request, email http://prayer@faith.church. March 9, 2021 // Day 9 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 9, 2021

Mark 6:34 (NKJV) “And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.” The compassion of Jesus is extended to any and all who wander around trying to find meaning and purpose in life. Jesus will teach the purpose and meaning of life to anyone willing to become one of his students. Thank You, Jesus, that You have the words of life that we all so desperately need. Grant us a hunger for You, Your Word, Your will, and Your ways in our lives. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 8, 2021 // Day 8 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 8, 2021

John 4:23-26 (NKJV) “’But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.’ The woman said to Him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming’ (who is called Christ). ‘When He comes, He will tell us all things.’ Jesus said to her, ‘I who speak to you am He.’” When we receive the revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, the Anointed One of God, the One who came to restore our broken relationship with God, everything changes. The freedom to draw near to God is filled with anticipation, the process of restoring broken relationships with other people begins. Thank You, Jesus, that You are the Chosen One, the Messiah, our Savior, Christ the Lord. Thank You for declaring that good news to everyone. Grant us Your grace to share Your good news to those we love and to those we encounter in our days. If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.

March 7, 2021 // Day 7 of 21 Days of Prayer

March 7, 2021

Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV) "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD." Good news, healing for my brokenness, liberty from my captivity, recovery from my spiritual blindness, liberty from my oppression and my acceptance from God. Those are fruits of Jesus’ service to all of mankind. Regardless of the issues I face today, O Lord, Jesus is the answer. He is the one to bring to me exactly what I need to live a life that brings joy to my heart and glory to Your name. Thank You! If you have a prayer request, please email http://prayer@faith.church.
