2. What does the text say?
- God’s original intention was to make the world subjected to man.
- God’s intentions stalled when man sinned in the Garden.
- God’s ultimate intention to redeem what sin destroyed is realized in Jesus.
3. What does the text mean?
- Before creation, God intended for humanity to be his crowning jewel.
- In creation, humanity's sin destroyed what God had intended.
- In Christ, God’s intention is perfected.
4. What do we do with it?
- The death of Christ gives eternal to hope to everyone who believes.
- Reflect on these truths: You have value because you are created in the image of the Creator. Because of Christ, we will be crowned with glory and honor.
Ask yourself this question: How will I live in the in-between time?
