When we understand that God made man in His own image it opens up the need to follow His design. It is important for children to know that being created in the image of God sets them apart from the rest of His creation. This should be explained in a way that it builds self-steem to know that God created them unique. We do not need to try and look or act like others. We are created in God's image.
God Is The Awesome Creator

When we see God as Creator it opens the door to discovering how He has designed each of us to have a relationship with Him. Encourage your children to consider why it is important to know that God created everything. Take time this week to read through and discuss Genesis Chapter 1. Talk about how God uses each part of His creation to show us His glory.

PARENTS WE NEED TO HELP OUR CHILDREN UNDERSTAND THAT GOD'S WORD HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US SO WE CAN UNDERSTAND HIS LOVE. GOD PLACES SPIRITUAL LEADERS IN OUR LIVES TO NAVIGATE HIS WORD, BUT THIS DOES NOT REPLACE THE RESPONSIBILITY THAT WE AS PARENTS HAVE TO LEAD OUR CHILDREN TO UNDERSTAND THE WORDS OF GOD.
