Faithfulness to God is vital in being obedient to Him. Our first act of faithfulness is trusting in Jesus as our Eternal Savior. As we remain faithful to His word we will grow in our trust and relationship to Him.

When we understand that God made man in His own image it opens up the need to follow His design. It is important for children to know that being created in the image of God sets them apart from the rest of His creation. This should be explained in a way that it builds self-steem to know that God created them unique. We do not need to try and look or act like others. We are created in God's image.

When we see God as Creator it opens the door to discovering how He has designed each of us to have a relationship with Him. Encourage your children to consider why it is important to know that God created everything. Take time this week to read through and discuss Genesis Chapter 1. Talk about how God uses each part of His creation to show us His glory.
