Don't be overwhelmed by the opposition

Week 2

JR leads us this week in the study of the life of David. We find in 1 Samuel 17 the epic of David versus Goliath which expounds the power of knowing the God we serve. David faces much opposition at this time in his life but the focus he has on the purpose of serving his God overcomes it. Instead of seeing the opposition David sees the opportunity to glorify God and in this he finds his victory.

The End of a King

This week Josh finished off our series "David Life of a King" by teaching about David's last decree as king and his Death. This was a moment to reflect on our own lives and how the life of David can be a mirror to examine our own lives.

King of Kindness

This week JR paints us a picture of what God’s kingdom of kindness looks like through the life of David. Together we remember, as David did with Mephibosheth, that God is most kind in that He never forgets us. We are at the forefront of our creator’s mind through all that we face in this life. We are in the most vulnerable yet powerfully protected place when we operate with the awareness of the Lord.
