As we look at Acts 2 we see that those who have rightly received the Word of God live with Glad and Generous Hearts. They experience daily the Wonder of living in right relationship with both God and man and have a Joy undeterred by the difficulties of this life.

Shatter Your Expectations

If Jesus were here today, He would certainly surprise us with some of what He said and did. How do we know? Because that's what He did to His disciples in the 1st century. From exploring Matthew 16, we see that what we think about Jesus is important, we have to ensure we listen to what He says about Himself and understand that His teachings often won't make sense to us. In all of this, we see Jesus constantly surprising us shattering our expectations, and we should welcome it.
