Doing Makes the Difference

Week 1

Neil Perry

In the late 1800s, Charles Sheldon wrote a book entitled “In His Steps” that challenged the reader to approach people and circumstances with the question - What would Jesus do? As we strive to not just to go to church or play church but to be the church in the context and culture God has placed in...let us ask and live the question - What would Jesus do now (WWJDN)?
In this teaching, we will be reminded that - believing is fine, intending to do something is nice, but it’s actually what you do that makes the difference. Doing Makes the Difference!

Shatter Your Expectations

Jeremy Jenkins

If Jesus were here today, He would certainly surprise us with some of what He said and did. How do we know? Because that's what He did to His disciples in the 1st century. From exploring Matthew 16, we see that what we think about Jesus is important, we have to ensure we listen to what He says about Himself and understand that His teachings often won't make sense to us. In all of this, we see Jesus constantly surprising us shattering our expectations, and we should welcome it.

Waiting Well | JR Blanton

JR Blanton

As Christians it is not a question of if we will wait or even necessarily how long we are in waiting, but HOW are we waiting? Are we waiting well or poorly? Are we making the best use of our time and when the wait is over will Jesus be pleased with what we did with our time. JR does a tremendous job of exploring this topic and giving application to our lives as believers! Stay connected with us! Increase Intimacy

Neil Perry

What makes us feel intimate with another person? While there are many ingredients to intimacy and each intimate relationship we have has a different recipe, common to all of them is Time, Transparency, and Submission. In this teaching, we find that this is as true in our relationship with God as it is in our relationships with other human beings.
