The Holiness of God

Revelation 4:5-11. Understanding the holiness of God is important. Accepting the holiness of God will guide us to a right relationship with Him. May we notice what holiness is and what a difference that will make in our lives. God’s holiness is to be accepted so that we might respond to Him appropriately. Part of that response is our commitment to being holy as He is holy.

Gaining Joy from Being Holy

John 16:16-24. We may experience a life filled with joy in spite of difficulties and disappointments. We can as we become holy. Jesus declared that to be the case in John 15:10-11 . There is joy that we may expect, if we are holy people. God intends for His people to have a complete joy. That will be ours as we live holy lives.

The Holy Tool for Making Holy People

2 Timothy 3:15-17. God's will for our lives is that we be holy. God has provided the tool by which we might become holy people. That tool is "the holy Scriptures" or the Bible. The Bible is holy and will help us to be holy, too. The holy Scriptures come from a holy God who desires all of us to be holy. The holy Scriptures will enable us to be holy, if we will know them and allow them to guide us into a holy life.
