This Advent season at Eastside, we’re embracing the powerful truth that “The Weary World Rejoices.” We’ll explore how the birth of Jesus brings hope, joy, and peace to a world walking in darkness.

Isaiah proclaims, “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned” (Isaiah 9:2). Despite the brokenness and despair of the world, God’s response is “nevertheless.” In the midst of gloom, He sent His Son to be our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

Join us as we celebrate the unexpected ways God brings light into the darkness, hope to the hopeless, and peace that knows no end. This Christmas, let’s remember that even in our weariness, we can rejoice in the Savior who transforms everything.
