In the sixth episode of "The Power Of Truth," Duane Sheriff teaches the concept of objective truth as found in the Bible. While everything around us might shake, God's truth remains unshakable, a sentiment echoed in Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." Acknowledging and living by absolute truth can lead to persecution, as it did for Paul, who shared the gospel and faced opposition, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:12. Standing firm in truth ensures freedom—personal freedom and societal freedom.

The power of truth is also about discernment, exposing lies and deceptions, and offering spiritual wisdom, much like a guiding light in the darkness, as described in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Embrace this truth, study it, and let it transform your life.

The Power Of Truth | Episode 1 | A Spiritual Weapon

While we live in the physical world, our warfare is spiritual. In the new series, "The Power Of Truth," Duane Sheriff teaches the importance of truth in this spiritual battle. Believers face a spiritual battle for their children, marriages, churches, and even the nation's soul. Yet, many Christians today are disengaged from this battle. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 explains how truth helps us to cast down false arguments and bring our thoughts into obedience to Christ. This spiritual battle requires divine weapons, and truth is one of our greatest spiritual weapons. Ephesians 6:14 describes the "belt of truth" as the first piece of the armor of God. Truth is the foundation that connects all other pieces of spiritual armor. Our faith, represented by the shield of faith (Ephesians 6:16), is directly linked to our knowledge of God's Word, which is truth. While God's love is important, the truth of God's Word sets people free (John 8:32). Speak the truth in love, courageously believing its power to change lives, heal relationships, and transform society.

The Power Of Truth | Episode 2 | Suppressing The Truth

In the second episode of "The Power Of Truth," Duane Sheriff teaches that God's truth is our greatest weapon against Satan's strategies of deception and fraud that have invaded our culture. Romans 1:18 explains how unrighteous individuals suppress the truth, which is evident today in media, politics, our school system, and even some churches. In John 8:31-32, Jesus says, "If you abide in my Word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Truth is not subjective but absolute and objective, rooted in God's Word. Jesus prays in John 17:17, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth." God's Word doesn't just contain truth; it is truth itself, unchanging and eternal. In this episode, Duane warns against believing lies about God, ourselves, and His will for our lives. By knowing the truth, we can recognize that we face a spiritual battle and use the weapon of truth to combat the lies that enslave people. As guardians of truth, we are responsible for knowing, living, and sharing God's truth in a world desperately in need of its transformative power.
