An Example to Follow

In their radical conversion and joyful spreading of the Gospel, the Thessalonians became an example for all Christians to follow.

In the conclusion to his epistle, Paul gives a compendium of exhortations for how the church should live together according to the Gospel.

Paul exhorts Christians to not be surprised at the Day of the Lord, but to eagerly wait and encourage one another with the hope of our salvation.

In the face of grief and death, Paul encourages the church with the hope that comes from a right understanding of Christ's glorious return.
