It’s a beautiful story, but its not merely a story. Ultimately, this parable is a life-changing and soul-thrilling window into God's compassion for lost sinners—like you and I.

The Hidden Treasure and a Priceless Pearl

Today, we begin in Matthew 13:44-46 with the parable of the hidden treasure and, its pair, the pearl of great price. We start here because these parables, in a way, encompass all the others. Here Jesus illustrates the unrivaled worth of God’s Kingdom and invites us to consider: What is my greatest treasure? And, more importantly, am I living for the greatest treasure?
