04 Power

Naomi makes a Plan to encourage Boaz to pursue Ruth in marriage. Ruth's implementation of the plan reveals four characteristics of God's love. Ultimately God's love of redemption makes Naomi's heart come alive. Love truly is the power of covenant love. 1. Love is selfless. vv. 1-10 2. Love seeks the best for others. 12-13 3. 05 Purpose

The purpose of Covenant Love is about redeeming a family to redeem a nation. We learn in this final chapter some amazing truths. • When I cannot see what he is doing, then I must fall back on the character of God. • There are roots of the Gospel found in the book of Ruth. A gentile woman in the lineage of Christ. • God's plan is to redeem not just a family and not just a nation, but the whole world through faith in Jesus.
