03 Providence

The Providence of Covenant Love says, "God is for us!" Sometimes, for God to make us beautiful, He has to refine us, strip us down, empty us. Naomi begins to see the grace of God through the provision and protection provided to Ruth by Boaz, a close relative. God is patiently transforming Naomi from "Bitter" back to "Pleasant." Naomi makes a Plan to encourage Boaz to pursue Ruth in marriage. Ruth's implementation of the plan reveals four characteristics of God's love.
