Esther, Mordecai, and the entire nation of Israel was in danger. Action was needed in order for their lives to be saved and they immediately took the right step. Before they went to man, they went to God with fasting and prayer! This is an action we are called to as believers as well. Ultimately, fasting and prayer is about knowing God more. However, we also see in God’s Word how God listens to our requests and faithfully answers our cries the way He did in the Book of Esther. Recorded live on April 28, 2021 at 6:30 PM

There are many ways we could describe the early church, but one clear characteristic of these new believers is DEVOTED! Acts 2:42 tells us that they had their heart set on the teaching of God’s Word, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. This isn’t meant to be unique to them alone. These four disciplines are for every follower of Christ. They helped the early church grow in spiritual maturity and they help us mature our faith as well.
The Clear Gospel
September 8, 2021 • Brad Randall • Acts 2:14–41
When the Spirit of God came upon the disciples and tongues of fire broke out throughout Jerusalem, it left the city amazed by God’s power, but still confused about what took place. But, the Apostle Peter cleared the confusion by preaching the clear Gospel. The Good News of Jesus may be difficult to embrace for some, but it’s not difficult to understand. When they heard the clear Gospel, they were “cut to the heart” and the Church exponentially grew like it had never experienced before.
