CASKET-EMPTY continues with S-Sinai. The sacrificial system was instituted to provide Israel with atonement for their sin, but was ultimately inadequate and points to the future perfect fulfillment in Christ. Israel wanders in the wilderness for 40 years after the bad report from the 10 of the 12 spies.
