This teaching focuses on Jesus' teaching on LUST and how that is so very different than LUST. It also asks what HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS look like according to Jesus. Also, there are an ADDITIONAL TWO MINUTES AT THE END AFTER THE PRAYER that discuss some thoughts that should have been said in the talk itself but were not. This teaching focuses on Jesus' teaching on ANGER, and how it, maybe more than anything else, brings Hell to earth, divides people, and makes us care way too much about things that don't really matter. What if there was a better way to live? What if we got angry about things that mattered?

In this teaching we talk about what Jesus means when He says Christians are SALT and LIGHT. We are the ones that are supposed to FLAVOR and PRESERVE the world! We make things better! The video at the end is about a 9-year-old girl whose life and death ended up saving millions of lives by raising money for clean water projects around the world. That link is above.

We kicked off our series on "The Upside Down" by looking at Jesus' incredible announcements at the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount! Could it be that Jesus is trying to tell us what reality is really like? And is it possible that everything we've known is backward?
