Confidence: Participation in the Gospel

The Church in Philippi was concerned about the spread of the gospel, so Paul wrote a letter to assure them of God’s plan and how to participate. In the book of Philippians, we learn about the strength of group unity produced by individual humility.

We will discover how to live for Christ, the importance of Jesus' humility, how to be a light of the gospel, and live for God’s purpose. We will be comforted, but most importantly we’ll learn how to be a church God uses to spread the gospel.

Contentment: Give and Support the Gospel

Paul closes the letter to the Philippians with a very practical way to participate in the good work of spreading the good news – giving. If we want to be a church God uses to advance the good news, we must be a people who joyfully yet sacrificially give to support that good work.

Harmony: Stand with Others for the Gospel
