The Church Who No Longer Needed Jesus

In this sermon you will hear an emphasis on the importance of true dependence on Jesus and the perils of self-sufficiency within our church. We will explore the question of whether the church is willing to give up worldly wealth, pleasures and comforts for a genuine relationship with Jesus. This lesson comes as we look at the church of Laodicea, described as nauseating to Jesus due to its lukewarm, self-sufficient attitude. You will be called to a life of continual repentance and reliance on Jesus for eternal riches, necessary righteousness, and spiritual vision.
