After establishing that prayer is both natural and vital to a healthy church, our sermon focuses on Romans 8:26-27, to give hope to the common dilemma that we don't know what to pray as we should. This text emphasizes the role of each person of the Trinity in the believer's prayer life—Jesus granting access, the Holy Spirit shaping desires, and the Father searching hearts. The Church Who No Longer Needed Jesus

Lord, Teach us to Pray: With Confidence

This is the last in a series of messages on the Lord's Prayer. This sermon emphasizes the confidence believers can have in approaching God. Lord Teach us to Pray: For Deliverance from Evil

While looking at the 6th petition of the Lord's prayer, we observe the importance of not doubting the good character of God during testing and temptation. This sermon draws parallels between the experiences of the Israelites in the wilderness and the temptations faced by Jesus. The central message is to pray that God would not lead us into testing that tempts us to doubt His good character and to trust in God's deliverance from evil. The sermon encourages believers to keep their faith in Jesus and His work on the cross, emphasizing that God will never forsake those who trust in Him.
