My Purpose is Christ

September 25, 2022 • Mark Bailey • Philippians 3:7–11

We are on a journey of discovering more about our purpose here on earth. It is important to understand that scripture teaches that we are called to at least five general purposes. Many people think they need to “find themselves” by looking in many different places. In order to understand our purpose, we have to find ourselves in Christ. Everything starts with knowing Him and finding our value in Him. Jesus said in John 17:3: “Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” Before we can go and live out our purpose, we first have to come to Jesus and learn how to draw from Him, the well that never runs dry.

In order to grow in our purpose, we have to start with the question – “Where do I want to get to?”
