Missionaries sharing the Gospel in Tanzania.

Website | www.sim.org Jason Pierce, Director | jason.pierce@sim.org Kevan & Lesa Talley, Church Project Liaisons | lktalley@swbell.net Our Mission | My family and I are serving as missionaries along the south coast of Tanzania. Our primary objectives are to share the gospel, make disciples, and help in the planting of local churches. Our team works closely with local pastors and evangelists by supporting, encouraging, equipping, and mobilizing to reach the unreached with the truth of Jesus. Ongoing Prayer Needs • We are currently working to further our knowledge/fluency of Kiswahili. Kiswahili is the national language of Tanzania and Tanzanians are generally proud of speaking a "pure" form of the language. Kiswahili is essential for our ministry; please pray for us as we work to put all we've learned at language school into practice in the field. • After months of bouncing around the country, we are finally settling into Lindi. Please pray for us as we adjust to the climate, the culture, the local dialect. Please also pray for us as we work to build into the local community. • We've been tremendously blessed with a diverse team here in Tanzania. It's humbling to see how God moves people from all over the world to work in unity for the cause of the gospel. Please pray for our team consisting of South Africans, Japanese, Australians, Canadians, and Americans, that we would continue bound in unity by the Holy Spirit. Serving Opportunities • Prayer!!! We need lots of prayer as we are making our transition into our new lives in Lindi. • After we've settled, It is our hope (and goal) to have MANY serving opportunities for Church Project volunteers. What does partnering with Church Project mean to your ministry? "We have been able to follow God's leading to serve in Tanzania because of Church Project's support. We love Church Project and are blessed to know that whether we're home in Texas or serving in Tanzania, we’re a part of the Church Project family. The prayer, financial support, and encouragement that we receive from Church Project are essential for our survival and success on the mission field."
