Imagine that Jesus was sitting here with us, and he walked up on stage and invited us to move closer to him so that we could hear what he was about to say. Using today’s language and speaking from the perspective of contemporary culture, how do you think Jesus would preach this section of the Sermon on the Mount to us so that we would be challenged in the same way that he challenged his listeners that day on the hillside? I believe there are three principles about lust that he would want us to hear.
