Fear is a constant companion to many people today. Fear is defined as a distressing emotion aroused by a perceived danger, evil, or pain, whether the threat is real or imagined. In the Christmas story, the shepherds were terrified at the sight and sound of the heavenly hosts. The angel gave them three reasons why they didn’t have to be afraid. What fears are holding your life hostage these days? The wonder of Christmas is the fact that hope is born, and that hope has come to take away your need to be afraid. Will you turn over your fear to the Messiah Jesus?
