In our Scripture lesson for today, Jesus encounters a man who we know as the Rich Young Ruler. This is a story about wrong priorities, about half-hearted commitment, and about our insistence on defining the parameters of our relationship with Jesus.

Early in the morning of the day after Sabbath, two women came to Jesus’ tomb intending to anoint Jesus’ body with spices.
