The Christmas story is full of instances that highlight God's goodness. God intentionally chose shepherds who may have been the least likely people for Him to show up to—to build our faith. The life of shepherds was messy but it can illustrate how God shows up in the middle of our mess. He shows up in our darkest hours to shine the brightest light and to give us hope.
