As aliens in this world, we answer to another leader. Yes, we are to respect and honor our earthly leaders, but we must always make sure our allegiance is clearly under Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are given the gift of freedom from God to live with liberty. There are times when we can and should submit to our authorities because it will honor God. But there are also times when we must disobey evil laws in order to follow God wholeheartedly. Join us as we study the examples in Scripture of courageous men and women who would not bend to the wickedness of their government.
