No one likes the feeling of running late for a date or being unprepared for a meeting. Often our tardiness or lack of preparation can have negative consequences. In Matthew 25:1-13 Jesus calls us to be ready for the most important of meetings: the time when we meet him face to face at his return. Jesus invites all to know him personally now, because if we wait too long, it may be too late.
